weekend edition: mom and dad in greenville

my parents came to greenville over memorial day weekend, and man, did they pick the perfect time to come! the highland games, freedom weekend aloft, shakespeare in the park and more were going on, which was absolutely fine with me because we had so many fun options for things to do without really planning. plus, my aunt renee and uncle joe came up from augusta to spend the weekend with us too! i tried to show them all the best of greenville in the short time they were here, but its so hard to cram everything into just two days. if you need some tips for where to take out-of-town guests, read on!

eats: lunch in falls park at bistro passerelle, crepes from the soby's on the side tent at the td saturday market, lunch at the cafe at williams hardware (not pictured: lunch at ford's oyster house, dinner at soby's and breakfast at mary beth's)

fun around town: an evening stroll in fall's park, the td saturday farmer's market, the saturday art walk along the reedy, a walk around the lake at furman (not pictured: the shops in the west end, a greenville drive game at fluor field)
