where to find unique gifts

if you've exhausted your arsenal of go-to websites and aren't sure where to turn for that "perfect gift," don't worry! there's plenty of quirky little online shops that put a bunch of cool brands at your finger tips. check out four of my favorites below:

[storenvy]: hip for guys, cute for girls;
a diverse array of clothing, home goods and knick knacks
there's something for every occasion and a wide range of prices

[one kings lane]: luxurious home goods;

prices are a little steep, but there are definitely some good deals to be had

[brickyard buffalo]: sassy and wallet-friendly
girly clothes, accessories and paper goods
items are usually never more than $25, but they do sell out fast

[scout mob]: shop small, shop local
art, food, clothes and home goods made by artisans in your area
fair prices for quality, handmade items

weekend edition: the village of west greenville

guys, i feel like christmas may really be greenville's time to shine. downtown is all lit up, looking cute as can be, and some days it's 70 degrees so you can actually go out and enjoy the decorations without freezing your butt off. on saturday, andrea and i went to the indie craft parade holiday fair, which was held over on pendleton street in the village of west greenville. they did an awesome job and had a great turn out from a bunch of local vendors. i finally got to try the food trucks and i got to see the we took to the woods pop-up shop and i got to go to the LP vintage pop-up shop. plus, all the other restaurants, shops and art galleries were open. pendleton street is such a funky little corner of greenville--i can't wait to see it grow more. here's a peak at what i took home on my iphone, and you should definitely get down to the west village asap!

thank you

one year ago today, i started this blog, and i just wanted to say thank you to everyone for reading, inspiring me and helping me grow this little project. whether you've only read once or you've helped me with posts, photography or photoshop, i just can't say thank you enough. i started out with the most generic layout blogger offered and posting about links my friends would send me during the day. luckily, since then, i've been able to pick up a few new skills to make things a little more interesting. sure, i've been tired and busy and sometimes just plain ol' forgotten to post, but something always brought me back to this blog. so, i just wanted to say thanks to everyone who stuck around with me while i've figured this whole blog thing out. it's been so great to have a place to learn and explore. i'm really looking forward to another year of creative adventures and growth, and i hope you all join me!
